Dear NUGA Members,

This year's Captain's Day and our first major will be held at the prestigious and challenging Mannings Heath Golf Club on the 17th May, 2025. It is a destination that perfectly blends luxury, relaxation, and adventure. Nestled in the heart of the Sussex countryside, Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate (https://www.manningsheath.com/ ) the estate boasts two beautiful golf courses that offer breath taking views of the rolling hills and tree-lined fairways.

This is our first major of the year and will be a great introduction of what it means to be associated to NUGA for new members and as usual an amazing day out for members. The event will be a fun filled 27 holes of golf, starting with egg/bacon roll breakfast served with tea/coffee followed by lunch and wrapped up with a 3-course meal dinner.

The cost of the event this year has been kept at the usual £100 for members and £130 for golfing guests and £50 for social guests. It promises to be a day to remember.

The evening event is usually a time of relaxation, quality dining, charitable fund-raising activities and hopefully some quality dancing. Friends and partners are welcome to attend as social participants.

Format
• Playing at 3/4 of handicap allowance.
• 9 holes (4-clubs) shotgun start (no buggies except medical exemptions)
• 18 holes in shared buggies (only 20 buggies available, members to indicate if they prefer to walk)

Dear Members,

This years Summer Cup will be held at the prestigious, The Grove Golf Club in Hertfordshire.

The Grove is home to one of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses and has recently been placed as the number 1 Golf Resort in England and 71st globally in Top 100 World Resorts by the Golf World Rankings. The award-winning course, located in Watford, has welcomed many greats of the game, including Tiger Woods who won the World Golf Championship here in 2006.

This years Celebration Cup will take place at Pedham Place Golf Centre provides which is an inland links-style golf course it sits at an elevation of 112 metres, situated upon free-draining chalk down land, allowing play all year round. Offering both an 18-hole Championship and a 9-hole Par 3 course, with a 30 bay driving range 18 which are Top Tracer bays.

Dear Members,

This years President's Day will take place at the impressive Shire Golf Course.

As per NUGA tradition the President's day will play host to the finals of the Presidential Match Plays. It is likely to be oversubscribed due to members wanting to get ringside seats to the crowning of our champion match player so register early to avoid disappointment.

The Shire, is a Championship course designed by Seve Ballesteros. It is the only golf course in the UK designed by the iconic Spaniard’s and a test and challenge not to be missed by golfers in the UK.
